Review on Kat Von D voxbox from influenster
Hi ladies, today I'll be doing a review on the Kat Von D voxbox I received from influenster for testing purposes. I just opened up the box and tried all the products out. It was like Christmas morning when I opened the box and saw it was all full regular size products, exciting!!!
In the box I receive the Lock it two different shades of concealer creme, setting powder, concealer brush, and powder brush.
1. One concealer shade is "light 11 Neutral" and the other is "light 5 neutral". The light 11 is a shade very pale and really great for pale skin tones to conceal things. It's more of a pale beige color and sometimes if I'm putting it alone it might look too pale on my face. But with a very light concealer I can never go wrong because I always put foundation over it. This shade covered up my dark and red spots so well. I honestly did not expect anything bad from the concealers since I know that Kat Von D foundation is complete coverage and these were completely the same. The light 5 neutral color is a little bit of a darker shade than the other and it's more of a buff beige which I LOVE. I just think I love it because it matches my skin tone much better and it could be worn to conceal dark spots without foundation. It looks nice and natural and really covers up imperfections well. I'm really happy with both shades and plan on continuing to use them and purchase them in the future. They really are FULL COVERAGE and cover up imperfections amazing.
2. The concealer brush that I got is nice and black and has a really long handle that's thick at the top and becomes thinner and thinner towards the bottom of the handle. The brush is so soft and gentle on the face. It really smoothens the concealer onto the face nicely and doesn't leave any streaks. I'm in love with this brush.
3. The next brush I got in the box is the setting powder brush and it's really AMAZING!!! It really is so smooth on the face and does a wonderful job at setting the powder onto the face. The bristles of the brush are really fluffy and extra soft, and really feel amazing on the face. It's also black and long and the handle gets thinner towards the bottom of the handle. I'm so excited to continue using this brush to set in my makeup. It's a gorgeous and amazing brush that I wouldn't trade for any other at this point.
4. The last thing in the box is the setting powder and it's translucent. When you open the top, it has a plastic cover that has a really cute star on the top with little holes that you can get some powder through for use (see picture below) . I love how it makes the face feel so silky and smooth. It really sets in my makeup good for the day and much less smudging happens.
Overall, I'm so HAPPY with the items I received complimentary from influenster for testing and review purposes. This was the best box yet to come and I'm honored to have had the chance to review these products. I have not tried many of the Kat Von D products in the past, but I have always heard good reviews about them, now I'm in LOVE with Kat Von D brand. I look forward trying more of their products in the future (maybe lipsticks next? ; ) )

Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara - My Honest Review
I want to start off by saying that I receive this Younique 3D Mascara complimentary for testing purposes from Kelly Hackney. She is a independent presenter who contacted me about sending me a product to test out and review. At first I was very skeptical about trying this product, but I wanted to see what the hype is all about since I been seeing it all over the internet.
I was very intrigued to hear that it will give me thicker and longer lashes, because let's be honest who doesn't want longer and thicker lashes? I also learned that the mascara is gluten free, vegan, cruelty free and it does not contain any harsh chemicals. Ones I heard the mascara is all natural I was all in and excited to try it.
When I received the mascara in mail I was ready to do a makeup look of the day and try out this new product. I had the pretty black packaging in my hands and opened it with excitement like it was Christmas morning. I had the mascara in my hand finally and was like let's see how this goes...
So, my result was that this Younique 3D Mascara delievers lush, full long lashes, but I think technique is key here. I realized I got the best results when I used one coat of transfer gel, one coat of fibers and then finish off with a second coat of transfer gel again. My lashes looked really long and full and I loved the dramatic look I was able to achieve.
Will I buy this mascara in the future? Absouletly, let's see how long it lasts me and if it's for a while than I'll give it a try again. Review of the YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer
I was one of the lucky few to receive this awesome YSL product complimentary from Influenster to test and review. I have been looking for the perfect concealer for a while now and found many products that are either too drying or cakey. This YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer is perfect and exactly what I need.
I love how smooth it applies on the face and makes my face feel refreshed. The one click pen applicator is easy to use and the pointed brush helps to apply in areas around the nose easy. I have some redness and discoloration around my face and this really helps cover it up and prep my face for the foundation. I do have some under eye bags and discoloration and this does an amazing job at covering everything up and making me looked so refreshed. I really love that this product really clears things up and makes my skin look so incredibly even and flawless.
The only negative is that this concealer does cost $42 and it might be a bit pricey for some. In my case I would definitely purchase it in the future because I do feel like it is well worth the money and does an amazing job at covering up my imperfections. I especially love that it's not cakey at all. The gold packaging is so stunning and just a cherry on top of it all.
